APRIL 1 st FUN RUN TO BERKLEY  SPRINGS

ALTHOUGH TURN OUT WAS LIGHTER THAN EXPECTED

A TERRIFIC TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.

MANY THANKS TO WES BELCHER FOR BRINGING

IT ALL TOGETHER.

Mel, Fred, Steve, Glen, Scott, and Rod met at the fairgrounds in Winchester, VA

 at 10:00. We were off to Berkley Springs, WV via hwy 522. Arrived in Berkley Springs

at 11:30 where we were met by Wes Belcher and Neil Furlow and had lunch. Convoyed

from Berkley Springs via hwy 522, 70, 68 and old hwy 40 to Cumberland, MD. Arrived

in  Cumberland at Neil's old downtown shop to see his antique trucks and memorabilia.

From there we went to Neil's warehouse on the outskirts of town to see his antique cars,

racing cars and motorcycle. Then we were off to the Cumberland Creamery for ice cream.

It was time to return home so we convoyed back to VA. A very special thanks to Wes Belcher

for organizing this trip. Also to his son John and daughter Suzanne for taking the pictures
